The National Universities Commission (NUC) is Nigeria’s apex regulatory agency responsible for quality assurance, accreditation, and regulation of university education. The Commission ensures standardisation of academic programs and development of the Nigerian University System.

The following vacancies are currently open:

Higher Level Positions (CONTISS 7-9):

  • Senior Officer (CONTISS 9) – PhD/Master’s/First Degree + experience required
  • Trainee/Officer I (CONTISS 8) – Master’s/First Degree + experience required
  • Trainee Officer II (CONTISS 7) – First Degree required
  • Confidential Secretary I (CONTISS 7) – HND in Secretarial Studies + 3 years experience

Mid-Level Positions (CONTISS 5):

  • Assistant Cameraman – ND in Cinematography/Mass Communication
  • Data Processing Assistant – ND in relevant fields

Support Positions (CONTISS 3-4):

  • Artisans/Craftsmen (Carpenter, Plumber, Electrician, A/C Mechanic)
  • Lift Operator
  • Motor Driver/Mechanic

NYSC: Discharge/Exemption certificate required for CONTISS 7-9 positions
Digital Skills: Computer literacy required for CONTISS 7-9 positions
Education: Varies by position (see specific role requirements)
