UNIZIK Post UTME/DE Registration Form 2026/2027

The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) has officially announced the commencement of Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening registration for the 2026/2027 academic session. This screening exercise is open to candidates who chose UNIZIK or its affiliate institutions as their first choice and have met the required cut-off marks for their chosen programs.

The Post-UTME screening is a mandatory requirement for all candidates seeking admission. The screening process complements JAMB results by applying institution-specific academic evaluation criteria to ensure only qualified candidates are admitted.

Comprehensive Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for UNIZIK Post-UTME or Direct Entry screening for 2026/2027, you must meet ALL of the following requirements:

For UTME Candidates

First Choice Requirement: UNIZIK or any of its affiliate institutions must be your first choice during JAMB UTME registration. However, if you did not originally choose UNIZIK but meet the cut-off marks, you can still apply AFTER visiting a JAMB CBT centre to change your institution to UNIZIK.

Cut-off Mark: You must have scored the minimum JAMB score required for your chosen faculty/program. Cut-off marks range from 150 to 200 depending on the course (see detailed breakdown below).

O’Level Results: You must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics. These credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

Subject Combination: Your JAMB subject combination must match the requirements for your chosen course. If it doesn’t, you must change to an eligible course before registration.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old at the time of application.

O’Level Upload: You MUST upload your O’Level results on JAMB CAPS by August 16, 2026. Failure to do this will disqualify you from admission consideration.

For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

In addition to the UTME requirements above, Direct Entry candidates must:

Hold Relevant Qualifications: OND, HND, A’Level certificate, or First Degree in relevant disciplines and subjects.

Upload Documents: Upload all academic credentials and certificates on the UNIZIK portal.

Forward Transcripts: Send official academic transcripts to the Registrar, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka by August 16, 2026.
