Graduate Trainee Programmes in Nigeria 2026/2027: Full List

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Graduate trainee programmes are one of the best ways for fresh Nigerian graduates to start a career. Banks, oil and gas companies, telecoms firms, manufacturers and consulting firms hire graduates every year, train them for six months to two years, and then place them in permanent roles. Most programmes ask for a first degree (usually Second Class Upper) or HND, an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate, and an age limit of about 26 to 28.

Below is our full list of graduate trainee programmes and internships in Nigeria, from A to Z. Each guide covers eligibility, how to apply, the selection stages and when applications usually open. New programmes are added as we publish them.

Tip: genuine employers never charge application fees. Apply only on the company’s official careers page.
