Comprehensive Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the NLNG Graduate Trainee Program 2026/2027, candidates MUST meet ALL of the following requirements:
Nationality
Requirement: Must be Nigerian by birth.
Educational Qualifications
Minimum Degree: University Bachelor’s degree obtained at Second Class Upper Division (2:1) and above.
Accepted Disciplines: Must be in ONE of the fields listed above (Engineering, Sciences, Social & Management Sciences, Law, Project Management, Information Management, Arts & Humanities, Shipping & Marine Studies, Medical).
NYSC Requirements
CRITICAL: Candidates must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) not earlier than 2017.
Required: NYSC completion or exemption certificate.
Education Gap and Academic Performance
Education Gap: Generally, no more than 5 years of education gap
Academic Record: No more than 6 backlogs or repeats
